The Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame is a Nonprofit foundation established to honor the area's greatest athlete legends in all sports. This local organization believes that recognition of these remarkable sports people should endure and be recognized long after their careers have ended. Just as important is what Hall of Fame candidates do later in life, in giving back to others and society, with charity work, and mentoring young people.

The Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame was founded by Bonus Frost. Bonus had a love of athletics and what it contributes to our lives. He began this non-profit in the hopes of recognizing excellence in athletics in the Springfield area and, in turn, supporting youth organizations by providing sports equipment and opportunities. We are forever grateful for his endeavor. The Hall has raised nearly $500,000 in their mission of supporting future hall of famers!
